Learning Support Assistant

TA1 Grade 2 £17,711- £18,065 pa pro rata

Term Time Only 15hrs per week; 3hrs per day

Fixed term contract until December 31st 2020

The Governors wish to appoint two enthusiastic, caring, committed and versatile Learning Support Assistants to join our hard working staff.

The successful applicants will work alongside classroom teachers, supporting small groups and/or individual pupils in reading, A good phonics knowledge or commitment to professional development is expected. All learning support assistants are part of the lunchtime team ensuring continuity of provision throughout the day.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • A love of reading and commitment to supporting children to become lifelong readers
  • A good phonics knowledge or commitment to professional development
  • Experience of supporting children within the primary age range

Administration Support Assistant

Grade 2 £17,711-£18,065 pro rata

8.30-4.00 ; term time only

The Governors wish to appoint an efficient, reliable and flexible administration support assistant who has a passion for working in schools. 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Good communication skills and the ability to relate well to both children and adults
  • GCSE Maths and English or the equivalent
  • Good computer skills eg: use of Word and Excel
  • Committment to their own professional development

The successful applicant will be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels. Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, and being able to work on your own initiative and under pressure.
