Science Experiments
Children took part in an experiment carousel. In science they have been looking at properties of materials and how they change.
They designed an experiment which looked at how materials changed through dissolution. They also completed a sun paper activity where they collected natural materials to make a collage. Children were fascinated by the way the ultraviolet light changed the paper which sparked discussions around photo processing and light. The slime crystals were also a highlight.
Ice Cream Surprise
Architecture - Tower Building
Children are really enjoying the design, planning and building stages of their tower building. Independently using language such as strategy, support and reinforcement. They are working together, considering options and continually evaluating like architects. Well done everyone. Can't wait to see the results!
Singing with Ms Bradley
Children really enjoyed our new singing assembly today. It was a great chance to practise singing hymns and learn new musical terms. We have some great singers in Year 5/6!
