Week beginning the 30th of January

A very busy week in year 3 we have been doing more Stone Age work.

  • Stone Age feast
  • Stone Age Art
  • Stone Age pottery work

The children really enjoyed story telling week. We read a story everyday, guessed what for the story was, we also made story profile for their favourite story in the class library. We also went to the Burnage library down the road. As part of the visit we made posters encouraging people to visit the library and why reading is important.

The children enjoyed making their Stone Age spears, acting out how they would hunt and defend their tribe.

For R.E this week we were busy learning how important it is to listen and share. Children learnt about the stone soup story and role played it in class. They also made posters on how important it is to listen and share.
