School Improvement Team
Our School Improvement Team gives children an active voice in shaping the future of St Bernard's. This team works alongside Ms Breeze to gather the views of children, evaluate school life and suggest improvements that help everyone to learn, grow and succeed. Through honesty, teamwork and leadership, they help ensure that our school continues to be the very best it can be.
Our Mission
To make St Bernard's an even better place to learn by listening to others, spotting opportunities for improvement and working with school leaders to make positive changes.
Your Responsibilities
- Carry out pupil questionnaires.
- Meet with their nominated staff member each term.
- Complete learning walks around school.
- Gather ideas from other children.
- Suggest improvements.
- Help evaluate new initiatives.
- Share findings with Governors when invited.

Our Goals
Autumn Term
Carry out a "What Makes St Bernard's Brilliant?" survey and present three improvements to senior leaders.
Spring Term
Complete a learning walk focusing on classrooms and learning environments and produce an Improvement Report.
Summer Term
Evaluate all improvements made during the year and create a "Year in Review" presentation for governors and pupils.
