The children have enjoyed reuniting with their friends after a very sunny six weeks off. To begin this new year of learning, we've been exploring place value with numbers up to 100,000 and in Science, we started our life cycles unit with an AI app to explore how the children will age over time. Do you recognise any of these classmates who have time travelled to the age of 30? Meanwhile, in English we're reading the beautifully illustrated book 'FaRther' by Grahame Baker-Smith, all about a man preoccupied with dreams of flying. The children have explored the underlying themes, designed their own flying machines and written instructions on how to get them off the ground!
