Week 4
The day the chairs quit!
We had a very big shock on Wednesday morning when we walked into our classroom and found that all our chairs had disappeared! We had to do all our work either on the floors or on the tables for the morning! We were even more shocked when Mrs Breeze walked in with a letter from the chairs telling us they had quit! Luckily, we were able to persuade them to come back and had a lovely afternoon making sure we looked after them far better than we had been doing. It was a great start to our new English unit, persuasive letters, based on the book, The day the crayons quit.
Marion Procession
The children watched a wonderful assembly by EYFS all about Mary and participated in some beautiful songs. They then followed the procession, dropping off their flowers by Our Lady's statue.
