Week beginning13th April

A warm welcome back to the summer term. We started our week as always with our grown ups attending Stay and Pray where we remembered the wonderful resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday. We made caves in the construction area, hearts in the malleable area. We made junk modelling models in the craft area and wrote and drew pictures about our Easter holidays.

Some children have been making caves outside.

We had a very exciting special delivery today. We received our caterpillars 🐛 and all had a very close look at them. They’re tiny. Everyone promised to take good care of them. We can’t wait to see the changes that take place.

Reception have been learning all about seeds and plants in English and today we planted some seeds in our outdoor area. We’re going to look after them and see what happens.

We have been exploring 3D shapes to see which balance and stack and created different structures.

Nursery have been using the counting cauldron to count and subitize small amounts.
