At St Bernard’s, we want our children to develop a love and appreciation for the world we live in. Through our high quality Geography curriculum, we will inspire pupils’ curiosity and fascination with the world, improving their knowledge of diverse places, people and resources, together with a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes.

In Early Years, children will discuss their familiar world, learning more about the local and natural environment. As they progress through Key Stage One, children will develop their understanding of key geographical features in the local area. In Key Stage Two, we will broaden our horizons, comparing the local environment to areas throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond.
