Week beginning 11th May
We began our week with a lovely worship about Mary which linked to our Marian procession last week. Parents and carers joined us in signing and singing the Hail Mary.
We enjoyed listening to Bernie’s weekend adventures.
Our special delivery arrived this afternoon. The children came back in after lunch to find our living eggs waiting to greet them in the incubator. How very exciting! We’ll keep you posted with events as they unfold.
We’re going egg crazy in EYFS. One of our eggs has cracked. We’ve been drawing animals inside eggs, making animals in the malleable area and being very vigilant while we await our first arrival.
We have chicks!🐣
We have a full set of boy chicks. 🐣 🎉
It’s all going on in EYFS this week. We also have 2 butterflies 🦋😁
In honour of our new additions, we’ve been making our own doubles and patterned butterflies.
We’ve made some fantastic observational drawings and had some fabulous conversation about what we have noticed about the chicks.
We’ve also been busy planting outside.
Forest school returned today and we had lots of fun making floral mobiles and looking for minibeasts.
We made the most of the rain.
