Week 5
Congratulations to a little girl in our class who used her learning in our science unit to achieve a green blue peter badge! She worked very hard on learning about how to look after nature and become an eco warrior in our school!
We've had an exciting week this week! We have all taken home some purple seed potatoes to see if we can grow our own potato plant at home! We have also conducted a science experiment to see what happens when we take away some of the key needs of a plant such as light, water and soil. In English, we practiced using persuasive sentence starters through drama, pretending to be different items around the classroom, linking our learning to our class book, The Day The Pencils Quit.
