Week beginning 6th July
In Stay and Pray this morning, we heard how it helps to speak to God if we have any worries as He will help us and give us strength to get through.
In forest school this afternoon, Nursery made their own craft fires using different materials and Reception sat around a real camp fire and toasted marshmallows.
We had a wonderful time st Sports day! Thank you to everyone who came to support us.
We have been talking about all the wonderful gifts God created for us in the world and how we can look after them. We planted some more flowers and herbs and made a promise to water them and take care of them.
Reception were lucky enough to take part in a gymnastics session today and they loved it.
Today we learnt that Jesus changed Simon's name to Peter because it meant 'rock' and we talked about all the qualities needed to be a follower of Jesus.
Rewards mornibg was a fabulous end to a wonderfully busy week. We took part in races outside before it got too hot ( even the teachers took part). We made England flags and hats ready for tonights match and we took part in a dance session in the hall. We ended the day with an icepop and a story in the shade.
