Week 5 and 6
In gymnastics, we’ve been working in pairs, learning that trust, strong muscles and body tension help us to create counter balances and that transitions are just as important as the balances themselves.
In Art, we’ve been investigating how artists use self-portraits to communicate aspects of their identity. We also experimented with different colours and brushstrokes to communicate different effects.
Finally, we ended our first half term with a whole class reward morning where we learned the Thriller dance routine, played Tug of War and other games in our Forest Area and enjoyed learning more martial art skills.
