Week beginning 18th May

We learnt about Jesus’ Ascension to heaven in stay and pray today. However, we know even though we can’t see him, He is always with us.

We loved being reacquainted with the chicks again today.

They are getting bigger, growing feathers, trying to fly and they’re very very hungry!

We’ve been investigating eggs this week. We held a boiled gag and a raw egg to see which was heavier. We put them both in water to see if they floated or sank. Finally we’ve put our raw egg in vinegar to see what happens.

We heard all about Bernie’s exciting weekend adventures! This weekend he even went to a birthday party!

We had fun in the sun in forest school.

Three of our butterflies 🦋 hatched last week and over the weekend so it was time to set them free.

Some of the children have been forming letters in sand.

In Caritas this afternoon, we talked about the gifts God gave us and how He gave us them to share. We worked collaboratively with our friends in groups to create pictures showing how we share our gifts with others.

We are getting ready to say goodbye to our chicks. 🐣 We let them out today for one last run around before they are collected tomorrow. We can’t believe how much they have grown. We have loved looking after them.

Rewards morning was lots of fun we did lots of World Cup colouring and flag making as well as dancing.
