Our Beloved Queen
Today we held our own special Day of Mourning in honour of our beloved Queen. We gathered for a minute's silence where we paused the business of school life to give thanks for Queen Elizabeth II's dedicated service. We then created work that helped the children to reflect on her life and service through Peppa Pig, Paddington Bear and the many joyful and sometimes sorrowful times in her life. We spent time together in Liturgical Prayer asking God to send His angels to take good care of her and then we enjoyed our Golden Time treats, but, this week, in honour of the Queen. A wonderful, thoughtful, important day here at St Bernard's - rest in peace, Your Majesty.
