Farewell to Mr Chavda
Tue 20 Dec 2022Today we say goodbye to Mr Chavda who has worked at St Bernard's for five years. He has worked with every child in our school, supporting them, teaching them and having fun with them. We wish him lots of love and luck as he relocates to write the next chapter of his story. Love and prayers from all of us Mr C ....keep being amazing and come back to see us when you can.

Christmas Raffle Winners
Tue 20 Dec 2022Well done to our Christmas Raffle Winners - we raised £312 this year which will be spent directly on your children so a huge thank you to all those parents and carers who supported us and thank you to Mrs McMahon for organising this event.

Christmas Shows
Mon 19 Dec 2022Our children had a wonderful time on Friday at The Snow Mouse & Peter Pan. The shows were brilliant and provided the finale to two weeks of work in class focusing on either snow animals or the Peter Pan story. Thank you for all of your voluntary contributions. Photos of The Snow Mouse attached (photography wasn't permitted at Peter Pan). Thank you too to all those parents who came in to school to view the work that the children had done. it was lovely to share this with you.

Tickets are £1 and all proceeds will go to The Children's Champions who will spend it directly on your children. Please support us if you can. The raffle will be drawn on Tuesday 20th December.

* Every library in Manchester is a ‘warm space’, a free, safe place where residents can come and stay warm all day in a welcoming, inclusive environment. The libraries are packed full of resources and support for all ages.
Please remember we do have staff who you can speak to confidentially to discuss concerns about cost of living, such as food or fuel poverty, cost of uniforms & school activities.

Film Night - Thank You!
Tue 13 Dec 2022Thank you to all the staff who supported our Christmas Film Night on Monday 12th December. Thank you to the parents for all their financial contributions - we raised just under £400 for The Children's Champions. This will help to support the projects sponsored by The Children's Champions in the year to come. The children had a great time.

House Winners Friday 9th December
Thu 08 Dec 2022Our House Winners this half term are St Luke's Team (BLUE). These children can wear their ordinary clothes for the day and will have a treat afternoon on Friday 9th. Please ensure that clothes are warm. Well done!
