• Luke’s Celebration Day

  Today we held a special day of celebration in honour of Luke’s Ordination which takes place on Saturday 11th November at St Bernard’s Church. All classes studied a Sacrament and shared their work with Luke. They made cards and created a class prayer in his honour. Luke visited the classes and the children asked him lots of questions about his journey towards becoming a priest. A beautiful day in honour of one of God’s very special people.

  

• Well Done Girls!

  Our Girls Football Team played their first match of the year today in the Burnage League, winning 8-0 against Cringle Brook Primary. An amazing win for our hard working team. Well done girls!

  

• A Beautiful Liturgy led by Early Years!

  This morning, we enjoyed a beautiful liturgy, led for the very first time by our Early Years children. Thank you to all those parents and carers who attended. You are very welcome to join us again at 10.55am on Friday 10th when we will mark Remembrance Day.

• The Last Post

  Yesterday, years 4-6 had the pleasure to watch the moving production of The Last Post. The children were respectful throughout and enjoyed having the opportunity to take part in the Q and Q with the actors at the end. This truly set the theme for this month of Remembrance and prepared us for next week’s Armistice assembly.

  

• All Saints Day

  Today we have celebrated All Saints Day, with all of our classes honouring their class saint in church and celebrating mass with Father Michael, Luke and the parishioners.  Thank you to all those parents who attended.

  

• October. The month of the Holy Rosary

  As part of the month of October all classes took part in the Mark10 Mission Challenge to say a decade of the Rosary each day. 
  The faith team also led Rosary reflections for the school and parish each Friday morning before school

• Attendance Awards July 2023

  We spent a wonderful morning today celebrating our Attendance Winners. We had 100% attendance from Frankie & Isabella and 99% attendance from many other children. We also gave awards to a couple of children who have started the year on a poor footing with their attendance but have made an astounding effort to turn this around.

  We had a Celebration Breakfast together in our newly refurbished staff room.

  Well done to all of our winners and a huge thank you to Mrs Richards for all her hard work in this important area of school life.
