Big Lent Walk Totals, the totals are in!
Thu 20 Apr 2023Well, we have all worked really hard and we have some great final totals. We smashed our walking record and as a school managed to walk over 600km in total. We have also managed to raise £265 to support the great work of CAFOD all around the world... well done everyone we are so proud of you! What a great way to give a little something back during Lent.

Our BMX Adventure
Tue 18 Apr 2023Our Year 5s and 6s enjoyed a wonderful day in the sun today riding BMX bikes with our new instructor Rob. He was so impressed with the behaviour of the children and their attitude towards learning new skills and enjoying a new experience. Well done everyone.

Welcome Back to the Summer Term
Sun 16 Apr 2023Welcome back everyone. This week we will be sharing the joy of the Resurrection with the children and taking them through the story of the Risen Lord. We will be encouraging the children to offer all of their experiences this term to Jesus and supporting them in following The St Bernard's Way.

Mr Chavda Dropped By……
Wed 05 Apr 2023Lovely to see one of our favourite people today - Mr Chavda is just due to start a new teaching assistant post in his new location but paid us a visit today. The children and staff were delighted to see him …..and his big umbrella!

A Beautiful End to the Term
Wed 05 Apr 2023Our term ended beautifully today with our Last Supper Reflections where we prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane with Jesus. Well done to Year 5 for leading this. We wish you all a happy and holy Easter and look forward to seeing you all on Monday 17th April for our new term.

Children's Champions Events
Tue 04 Apr 2023Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Easter prize draw, Mothers’ Day gift shop, and own clothes day. In total this term across the three events, we have raised a grand total £706.43! This will form a large contribution toward the cost of school trips for each class in the summer term! Thank you again for all your support.

Palm Sunday
Mon 03 Apr 2023We have spent a wonderful day today celebrating Palm Sunday. Children from all classes have made palms and listened to the story of Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey. Well done to Ms Etel’s class and Mrs Phillip’s class for leading our Palm Sunday liturgies with such joy and praise for Jesus, our Saviour and thank you to all those parents who joined us for our celebrations.

Fri 31 Mar 2023Today we have spent another brilliant morning at The Etihad taking part in the Year 6 tournament. Our Year 6 players did an amazing job - team work, hard work and communication got us all the way to the final .....AND WE WON! We'll now be invited to a Champions League tournament in July. Well done to our Year 6 squad, thank you to Kyle Walker for watching us win and a huge thank you to Mr Shaw for making all of this happen and teaching all of our different football squads to such a high standard.
