Jubilee Of Hope Finale

Year 4 Make Colourful Collages
Tue 20 Jan 2026Our talented Year 4 class have been in creative mode this week. In Art, they have learned what makes an effective composition, demonstrating effective use of space, texture, colour, shape and size. A great job Year 4, well done!

Back to School ……In The Snow!!!!!
Mon 05 Jan 2026We really don’t like to miss an opportunity to have some fun so we made the most of the weather and got outside for some fun in the snow. Our older children made mini snowmen and our little people explored the snow in our beautiful forest area. A great day to start 2026 on!

St Bernard’s….. Dining in Style!
Tue 16 Dec 2025We’ve had a great day today; our fantastic master chefs, Ms Winter & Ms Fay cooked us all an amazing feast. All of our classes ate together in the hall, listening to Christmas songs, wearing our Christmas clothes and were served by our brilliant Y5 school leaders and our wonderful sports coaches. A huge thank you to Ms Winter & Ms Fay and everyone who helped to make this a great St Bernard’s celebration 🎄.

Meet the Alpacas!
Tue 09 Dec 2025So …..after all my strange dreams about alpacas …….look what happened today!!!! We’ve had a very special visit from two gorgeous alpacas! As a Christmas treat, they have travelled all the way to St Bernard’s for some furry fun. The children stroked them and fed them and asked lots of great questions about what kind of life they have. All children will now do a piece of writing about this and I can’t wait to read what everyone produces.

The Circus Comes to Town
Tue 02 Dec 2025At the end of this term our Year 1/2 class will be going to Aviva Studios to see Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Extravaganza and as part of our preparation, some of the stars of the show came to spend the day with us. There was lots of fun and laughter right throughout the day …..with some tricky circus skills taught along the way. Well done Yr1/2!

PE With Mr Shaw
Tue 25 Nov 2025Our little ones had lots of fun in the sports hall this week as they practised their ball skills with Mr Shaw. They learned how to control the ball, dribble and pass to each other and learned about good team work. Well done to our future footballers!

Our Year 4 Mathematicians
Tue 18 Nov 2025Our brilliant Year 4 class have been showing off their Maths skills this week with some pretty tricky problem solving. Using their Base Ten equipment, they have been trying to demonstrate how and why we regroup when doing addition and subtraction and challenging their thinking with some fun Maths games. Well done Year 4!

Tue 11 Nov 2025Today we marked Remembrance Day with a beautiful service led by Year 3. Marking a minute’s silence and reflecting on the sacrifice of all service men and women who have given so much in the name of freedom for all of us.
