• Jungle Day

  Thursday 6th October is Jungle Day!  Your child is invited to wear non uniform in jungle colours of their choice (whichever colours you choose is absolutely fine!) and they are invited to have a jungle themed lunch (please see attached poster).  There is no need to send a packed lunch on this day - ALL CHILDREN will be offered a jungle themed meal.

  

• The Barlow RC High School Open Evening 6.10.22, 5 - 7pm

• Library Visits

  Mrs Rhodes has organised for some of our classes to visit our local Library in the coming weeks.  Please look out for communications from staff and ask your children about their visit when they have been.

  

• Nursery & Reception Parents' Coffee Morning

  Parents of our Nursery and Reception children are warmly invited to join us for coffee at 8.50am on Tuesday 20th September.  Here you will be able to chat to the staff working with your children and hear about the Early Years curriculum.  Please drop your children off as normal and then, from the playground, make your way to the portacabin where staff will greet you at the door.

• Burnage Academy For Boys Open Evening 21 9 22, 4 - 7pm

• The Queen's Funeral

  Friday 16th September - following the sad news that Her Majesty the Queen has died, we will be holding our own special Day of Mourning on Friday 16th September.  Children and staff are to wear black clothes of their choice for the day and will take part in special activities devoted to the Queen.  Liturgical Prayer will also take place.

  Monday 19th September - Bank Holiday to mark the Queen's funeral.  School will be closed for the day.

• Swimming

  Swimming starts on Monday 12th September for Year 5 children.  Please make sure that swimming kits are in school. Thanks you.

• Welcome Back!

  A warm welcome back to school everyone.  We start at 8.40am on Monday 5th September (new Nursery start on the 12th September) and we're really looking forward to seeing you all ready for the new school year.

• PTA Meeting

  Our newly formed PTA, The Children's Champions, will be holding it's next meeting on Tuesday 13th September at 3.15pm in the portacabin.  Everyone is welcome and we would love to see some new members joining us for a year of fun and fundraising.  Thank you.

• Football Club

  Our Football Clubs start as soon as we arrive back in school.  Set 1 will train on Mondays (from Monday 5th September) and Set 2 will train on Wednesdays (from Wednesday 7th September).  Please see calendar. Thank you.
