Bernie Visits a Venetian Glass Factory
Mon 18 Aug 2025Bernie went to see how glass is made today in a very special place where they make jewellery, glasses and huge, big sculptures. Did you know Early Years, glass is actually made out of sand. It is heated up by very clever people and turned into special shapes. Then it is decorated once it has cooled down. Bernie found it all very exciting!

Bernie Visits The Guggenheim
Sun 17 Aug 2025Today, after a good breakfast, Bernie visited The Guggenheim Museum and saw some amazing paintings and sculptures. He then went on a boat to St Mark’s Square and enjoyed some cakes whilst watching the world go by …..it took him a really long time to choose from all the gorgeous cakes on offer…..! 🍰

Bernie’s Next Adventure…..
Sat 16 Aug 2025Bernie’s arrived at the next stage of his big summer holiday …..can you guess where we are…..? We’re in Venice! In Venice, they don’t have roads so everyone travels in boats on the water. Bernie’s tried a few different boats already and he’s looking forward to visiting lots of different places in Venice. I’ll show you where it is on our big map when we get back 👍🏼.

Bernie Watches the French Entertainment
Thu 14 Aug 2025It’s Bernie’s last night tonight and he went to see the circus! I think he found a few of the tricks and moves a bit scary but he had a lot of fun. He’s having an early night tonight because tomorrow Ms Phillips is bringing him to my house ……I wonder where he’s off to next…..🤔? I’ll let you know soon.

Holiday Club

Bernie Goes Crabbing!
Fri 08 Aug 2025Bernie’s having a lot of fun in France - he’s been crabbing! He found lots and lots of crabs, all different sizes and colours and had a go at counting them. Well done Bernie!

Mon 04 Aug 2025Bernie’s having a great time. He’s put his tent up, sorted his sleeping bag and found the pool. He’s spent the day relaxing and playing in the water. Well done Bernie!
