Bernie Sets Off for…..
Fri 01 Aug 2025…..France!!!!!! Bernie was very excited this morning as he boarded the ferry and got into the holiday mood with Ms Phillips. He had a little sleep on the way with his new friends and when he woke up he spotted some seals on the beach! He’s having a brilliant time already! Have a think about some questions you could ask him about France when we all get back together in September 🐶.

Beach Trip
Mon 21 Jul 2025With the recent weather, Ms Cant & I had planned for torrential rain today but God answered our prayers and sent beautiful sunshine for our trip to St Anne’s beach. After a tricky journey, through some tricky traffic (!!!!) we made it in relatively good time and enjoyed lunch in the garden, digging in the sand and ice cream to cool us all down. So lovely to see our youngest children playing alongside some of our oldest children in Year 5 ☀️🍦.

The team at Chester Zoo visited us at school to deliver conservation workshops to each class for four weeks. They then invited us to take part in another workshop at the zoo and to have a look at all the animals. This was a fantastic experience with the sun shining on us all day 🦁🐵🐯.

Using bulbs, batteries, wires and switches, they have learned that circuits must always close if they are to work reliably and have learned about how connect all of the parts of a circuit together. A brilliant job Year 4.
