A Fantastic Reward Morning
Fri 11 Apr 2025Today we spent a fantastic time taking part in our half termly Reward Morning. As a treat for good behaviour, best efforts and a super attitude we had a morning of fun with Mr Shaw leading our newest addition to our sporting menu - Lacrosse, and our friends at Fifth Movement leading us in Dance, Karate and Tag Rugby. We even found a little extra time to make some gorgeous chocolate Easter nests to share. A brilliant day ……well worth working hard for!

Expressing Our Emotions Through Art
Wed 09 Apr 2025We have been working hard across our school to develop our understanding of the Zones of Regulation. This work, aimed at supporting the emotional and mental health of all the children and adults in school is providing an opportunity for all of us to firstly learn how to identify how we feel and then take useful steps towards self regulation, finding that place of calm and readiness. Our brilliant Year 3s have used their latest Art project, focused on the work of Andy Goldsworthy, to depict their feelings using natural materials from our forest school. Brilliant work that has definitely put us all in the green zone!

Our Little Athletes
Thu 20 Mar 2025Continuing our strong commitment to sport, our youngest children have been practising jumping outside in the sunshine. With lots of energy, they have been learning how to co-ordinate their eyes with their legs and learning how to balance correctly. Working on the big muscles in the body helps to develop the smaller muscles that we need for writing so lots of progress made in this session. Meanwhile Y1&2 have been learning how to exercise their bodies with some expert gymnastic moves. Brilliant work everyone!
