Love & Prayers This Christmas…..
Wed 18 Dec 2024…..from all the staff & governors at our wonderful school. We have had an amazing few weeks and have loved every minute with our brilliant children. Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season and we’ll see you all for our next chapter on 6th January 2025.

Christmas Dinner Day!
Tue 17 Dec 2024We have had a fantastic time today sharing Christmas dinner. We had wonderful behaviour from the children and our Year 5/6 leaders were an amazing help in looking after the younger children. A huge thank you to Ms Heaton, Ms Pelling & Ms Fay for all their hard work today, and every day.

Our Fabulous Theatre Trips
Thu 12 Dec 2024What an amazing week we’ve had on our theatre trips. The enchanting story of Sleeping Beauty for our younger children at Stockport Plaza and the fantastic prequel to The Wizard of Oz, Wicked, at The Opera House for our older children - two fantastic stories, studied in class by all the children, brought to life on stage. A truly magical week for everyone.

This Year’s Nativity
Thu 05 Dec 2024Our youngest children have well and truly brought the true meaning of Christmas to St Bernard’s with their beautiful nativity. Their singing, acting and speaking told the wonderful story of the birth of Jesus. Well done to everyone in Early Years and Key Stage 1.

Super Scientists in Year 1/2!
Thu 21 Nov 2024Look at what our Y1/2 class have been up to …..using all their investigation skills, they have been considering different materials and thinking about how we select materials based on their different properties. Very grown up work - well done!

Our Year 4 Mathematicians Go Measuring!
Tue 19 Nov 2024In Year 4 the children have been using their knowledge of MILLI (1000 times smaller) and KILO (1000 times greater) to measure around school in lots of different ways. They then moved on to some further work in place value working with some pretty big numbers - a brilliant job Year 4!

Introducing…….
Sat 16 Nov 2024……our brand new Faith Team. This group of children, wearing their distinctive purple jumpers, will lead the children in their ongoing journey, following Jesus, spreading the Word of God and developing everyone’s understanding of the St Bernard’s Way.
