Week beginning 11th March
It’s been a busy week this week. It’s Science week and for those of you who attended Science evening, you’ll know we were planting cress seeds, investigating the best ways to make ice melt and exploring the texture of gloop. In class we’ve been cultivating beans, exploring floating and sinking and investigating how the angle of drainpipes can affect the speed an object travels down it.
We’ve been looking at the wordless story the Midnight Fair this week. We’ve made our own story map to retell the story in our own words, we’ve been writing our own speech bubbles and even making our own junk modelling fairground rides.
In Re this week, we’ve been learning about St Patrick’s day.
