The internet has become a part of our everyday lives and can be an incredible tool to support children with their learning. However, alongside new opportunities, the internet can also expose children to various risks.

E-Safety is an essential part of safeguarding at St Bernard’s. We regularly remind children to use technology safely and responsibly, sharing advice and information to keep children safe online.

Tips for staying safe online:

• Make sure you keep new online friends strictly online. If someone you don't know asks to be your online friend you must ensure an adult knows about it.
   
• Know how to use the CEOP Button and how to report it to the CEOP Centre if you are concerned about someone’s online behaviour towards you.
