An excellent and very informative set of non-chronological reports produced by our class on the role of animals during the World Wars.
A range of World War artefacts, courtesy of the Imperial War Museum and modelled by Year 6.
In Science, we have been studying 'Forces' meaning that we have conducted a number of investigations into gravity, friction and air resistance. This week, we worked in groups and chose from a range of materials in order to create our own parachutes, which generated much discussion about variables eg. size/shape of the canopy and length of string. We then got to test them out which was not only very informative but also GREAT FUN!
