Week 23rd June
Maths masters! Y5 had a reintroduction to symmetry using mirrors and shapes. They were then able to challenge each other to create compound shapes with multiple lines of symmetry using the mirrors to check their understanding. Good start Y5!
Cross-Curricular learning! The children have been using their Maths skills to collect and access data about the growth and weight of baby boys and girls. It’s helped them to clearly see how humans develop from a newborn to a one year old. Great job Y5!
