Week Beginning 12th September
Queen Elizabeth II Day of Mourning - The children showed interest and enthusiasm when learning all about the life of Queen Elizabeth II. They used their artistic skills to create impressive collages and their writing skills to compose thoughtful descriptions of the Queen's strength and determination through times of sorrow. They also created strawberries and cream biscuits in the Queen's honour!
Our week began with a Gospel Reflection for KS2. The theme was 'Care' and we made reference to the parable Jesus told about the lost sheep, which demonstrates that the Kingdom of God is accessible to each and every one of us.
