Week beginning 4th March 2024
World Book Day 2024. Today we celebrated a love of reading and thought about the stories that we enjoy at bedtime. We were allowed to come to school in our Pyjamas to celebrate the day. One of our first activities was 'Come dine with me'. We had to guess which characters the meals belonged to. It was lots of fun and we did really well and guessed every characters plate!!!
To celebrate World Book Day 2024, we took part in a range of activities. Here's some photos of us decorating masks and designing our own super spud characters.

Our masked parade... we decorated masks to show our favourite book characters. At the end of the day, parents/carers were invited to come and see our creations in our World Book Day Masked Parade.
Wood Street Mission Book Roadshow: This week we have welcomed volunteers from Wood Street Mission. They arrived with lots of lovely books for the children to look at and then choose 3 to take home and enjoy. Happy reading everyone! Thank you to Wood Street Mission for donating the books and supporting the children in their reading journeys.
