Our Christmas tree is looking beautiful in the hall. We visited during our allocated time slot, so that each child could choose a bauble to decorate it with.
Wednesday was 'No Pens Day' and we all had a great time! We began with role playing in our English lesson, with the children playing characters from our current novel, Street Child. The emphasis was on improving our non-verbal communication skills in order to express different emotions and they did an amazing job! Next, we used the mathematical equipment to answer, prove and explain our understanding of division questions. Finally, the day ended with a 'show and tell' session in which the children used their speaking and listening skills to talk about, and answer questions on, items that are special to them.
