Welcome to Year 2.
Our teacher is Mrs Phillips and our assistant is Mrs McMahon. We love learning new skills and knowledge, developing as unique individuals and supporting one another on our journey in key stage one.

Things to remember
- Each child needs a pair of trainers or black pumps for PE. Please send in a pair of trainers/pumps that your child can keep in school for the half term.
- Bring a water bottle into school each day filled with fresh water.
- Bring your school book bag with your reading books and reading record inside each day.
Children: Don't forget to read at home for 10 minutes every day and ask an adult to sign your reading record in order to take part in the reading challenge. Remember that you will receive a certificate for every 25 reads completed at home!
Adults: Research has proven that reading for 10 minutes every day with your child makes a huge difference in building confidence and fluency in reading. Practise makes perfect!
