Week beginning 28th November
This week we have been reading the beautiful story "Tree - Seasons Come, Seasons, Go" and talking about the changes that happen throughout the year. We've been creating our own trees using different collage materials to represent the different seasons and we've even added a tree to our role play area where an owl has been watching us all week.
We’ve been learning about Advent and we’re excited about taking the Travelling Nativity home in December!

The children had a lovely time today opening the first day of our class advent calendar and helping decorate the Christmas tree.
Today the children have been decorating our classroom for Christmas, our final celebration of this half term. They’ve also been busy making props for our winter woodland role play area to use next week.
We had a lovely visit from Finn the therapy dog today as well as from our Year 6 buddies. Our buddies joined us for our teddy bears picnic at Golden time and they even read a story to us.
