To kick off our geometry work in maths, we investigated different angles with a real-world application. The children used a ruler to create an outlined and squared off first letter of their name, then drew random lines and created patterns within their letter. Finally, they needed to find as many angles as possible within the letter and use a protractor to accurately measure each angle.
