Today we visited Delamere Forest. What a fantastic day we had! We met our forest ranger, Nicola, when we arrived and she took us to our forest camp for our first workshop. In the morning, we learnt about animals in the forest, their homes and the food chains within the forest. We had time to look for minibeasts. Have a look at our work...
In the afternoon at Delamere, we learnt about 'Land Art' and using nature to make prints using natural 'paints'. We used hammers, boards, leaves and wild flowers to create prints on fabric.
We have enjoyed using the new bikes this week to help us develop our gross motor skills and practised balance and gross motor skills in the ball area when playing ball games. The outdoor markmaking area has also been popular. Have a look at our learning...
