Week beginning 3rd April 2023
This week our class led EYFS and KS1 in a Palm Sunday celebration to mark the start of Holy Week in school. We remembered how Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey and the crowds welcomed him waving palms and shouted hosanna.
We visited the Faith Room today to remember Jesus' journey carrying the heavy cross. We reflected on each station of the cross and thought about how Jesus was feeling. We thought about times in our lives where we get tired and need help to continue our journey and times when we forgive others who may have hurt us. After the stations, we went outside to the beautiful Eater garden that EYFS had created and had time to pray our own private prayers.
