Week beginning 13th March
Spoiler alert - Don't look too closely or your may ruin your surprise! - The children made some beautiful cards for their mum or another special someone in their life. Happy Mother's Day on Sunday, to all of the wonderful mums and thanks for everything they do for us!
As this week was Science week, we used red cabbage water as a PH indicator and investigated various substances such as lemon juice, milk, bicarbonate of soda and indigestion tablets to ascertain whether they were acidic or alkali. The children loved watching how the liquid changed colour from purple to either red or blue/green and some of the liquids even fizzed!
