Week Beginning 20th March
Big Lent Walk
On Friday, we went on our Big Lent Walk - we walked from school to Cringle Park and back to school with a play at the park in between! We had a marvellous time at the park and we used words of encouragement that we reminded ourselves of from our liturgical prayer on Monday. We were joined by Year 1 and Year 5 and we worked as a team to make sure we all arrived at the back and back at school safely. We arrived back at school and had time for a chocolate treat and a story to replenish our energy before home time. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored us so far, and the the parents who joined us on our walk - we had a fabulous time working with you.
Thanksgiving
To end our unit on thanksgiving in religion, we reflected on how we can spread the message of thanksgiving and peace that we have experienced in Mass to the people who we are most grateful for in our lives. We decided to spend our reflection time considering who we are most grateful for, and how we can remind them of how God loves them. We created a card for them to remind them of this.
