This week we are celebrating National Story Telling Week.
We began our week with a virtual story telling session with professional story teller, author and imagination weaver Wendy Shearer. Wendy is currently a script consultant for the Cbeebies show 'JoJo and GranGran'. You can watch her story telling again via this link:

We have enjoyed a trip into the city centre today to Central Library for a 'Cardboard Cosmos Co Creation Workshop. We worked with Sophia and Hal who work in theatres creating sets for live productions. We practised a universal space sign for 'stop', went fishing for magic fish, we reported as eye witnesses at a space craft crash site and then created our own space ships to transport the aliens back into space. Aliens love underpants! We have been reading stories with a space theme. We listened to the story and designed and decorated our own underpants!
We had a visit from the police today and found out about how they help others and how they can help us. We got to experience using their shields, sitting in the front of the van and activating the sirens and finding out what the back of the van was like. We know that the police can help us in an emergency if we call 999.
