Week beginning 8th January
We are having a wonderful first week back. All the children have settled back into school life nicely and we are so happy to welcome the rest of year1 into our class too.
In Maths, Reception have been counting and representing numbers to 5. We had so much fun today playing skittles and bean bag throw in the outdoor area and recording our scores.
In maths Year 1 have been learning about 3d shapes and today they have been identifying them and sorting them in different ways.
We’ve had lots of fun making ramps for vehicles and exploring how we can make them go faster.
Markmaking at the chalk board has been popular today and caused lots of giggling between friends.
