Week beginning 31st October
The children used a range of impressive expanded noun phrases to describe a WW2 scene from 'The Lion and the Unicorn' by Shirley Hughes. Subsequently, they produced very impressive chalk pictures of The Blitz, centred around St. Paul's Cathedral.
We had a great time visiting Burnage Academy to partake in an Art Workshop, where the children drew portraits of each other and used watercolours to paint them with lovely, abstract patterns.
