Week beginning 22nd April
For our class liturgy, we reflected upon the cultural and religious significance of St. George's Day. Some of our children did an excellent job of acting out the legend of St. George slaying the dragon and we then explored the symbolism of the dragon representing evil. Subsequently, we compared the real Saint George to the legendary figure who became the Patron Saint of England.
