Week beginning 20th March
We are continuing with our theme of traditional tales this week and have loved listening to ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’. We have retold the story with a story map and actions and have been ordering the characters from the smallest to the biggest!
Our new outdoor building blocks have been very popular this week! We’ve seen some fantastic bridges, thrones and houses being assembled.
In the craft area we have been making our own story boxes using different materials to create settings from the traditional tales we’ve been reading.
Today we’ve been making our own wanted posters of the troll from the Three Billy Goats Gruff! Great work everyone!
The children love our new rug and have called it “our children of the world rug” They even replicated the picture while sitting round it this morning.
We saw our favourite pet today-Finn the therapy dog! We had great fun with him!
