Le Château - A French Play
Today we were lucky enough to have been invited, along with 3 other Primary Schools, to Burnage High School to watch a fun French play. One of our pupils was invited up on stage to participate. We had a wonderful afternoon.
The year is 1540.
A young English Knight has been sent to France by King Henry VIII. He must find a suitable lady for the king to marry.
After locating a potential match, he must paint her portrait and return to England.
But this simple task is not easy because he only knows a little French, he can't paint, and the lady has a very protective maid!
Creativity at it’s best!
