Gospel Reflection - Mission: Spread Peace

Children in Year 5/6 planned their own liturgy in response to last Sunday’s Gospel.

Studying the scripture and using the Wednesday Word to interpret the meaning the class wrote prayers and responses to the message about God’s kingdom.

We gave each class a poster to complete with ideas on how to spermatozoa peace in our school and these will be displayed in next weeks Gospel Reflection.

Class Mass - Martyrs St Thomas More and St John Fisher

Children enjoyed planning a mass, writing bidding prayers and learning the new hymn ‘Faith of Our Fathers’.

Father Joseph led the mass and Miss Jones our chair of governors and Mrs Breeze our headteacher joined our mass too. Year5/6 received a class compliment and a round of applause from parishionersfor their behaviour and singing.

Yoga with Kate

Children really enjoyed the calming yoga session with Kate from Peace at Last . They took part in different stretches, challenging balances and an interesting walking meditation.
