Week beginning 18th March
This week, we've been learning about the 'Show, don’t tell' writing technique in which story and characters are related through sensory details and actions rather than exposition. We carefully considered non-verbal communications such as facial expressions and actions, before incorporating these into our role play of the characters from The Midnight Fair. The better understanding of these nuances made a significant difference to our acting skills.
Well done to everyone for their joint effort in walking a fantastic total of 203.94km for our Big Lent Walk. Also an excellent effort by Year 6 for accompanying and helping to look after our EYFS children.
