Week beginning 6th March
We enjoyed a visit from a MAD scientist this week who showed us some fantastic experiments. If your child is in reception you can sign up to the after school club which will start after Easter. Details were sent home in a letter on Tuesday.
In RE the children have been talking about what happens in Mass and learning about the bread and the wine.
This week the traditional tale we’re reading is The Little Red Hen. The children have been retelling the story using a story map and they are brilliant at acting out the speaking parts! We’ve also created a castle role play area in the classroom which the children are loving!
We’ve been thinking of what the animals might say to the little red hen in a letter.
Some of the children have been making some magnificent buildings and working so co-operatively together.
We have also seen some wonderful home corner role play today.
We’re still making our wooden spoon characters too
