Week beginning 9th January 2023
Our new English unit is based on the book 'Everest: The Remarkable Story of Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay' written by Alexandra Stewart. This week, the children have been learning lots of fascinating information about Mount. Everest and spent a couple of days on researching, watching information videos and then writing their own fact files.
To celebrate Epiphany, our class made and displayed their own gift tags, stating which special gift they each bring to the world (such as generosity, kindness and thoughtfulness) and giving examples of how they demonstrate their gift.
