As part of Black History month we have been studying the book, Hidden Figures. We have learned about the lives of four courageous women, who stood up for what they believed to be right and held their place among men in the field of mathematics. We learned how these women helped NASA’s space project.

today we found facts about Katherine Johnson to support our persuasive letter to King Charles III. After the holidays we will compose a letter to the king persuading him to add Katherine Johnson on the New Year Honours List.
