Our writing this half term will mainly be based around the picture book, The Tin Forest.

We will write setting descriptions, character descriptions and diary entries before exploring figurative language and different types of poetry.

Reading

Our whole class reading sessions will focus on the book Clockwork or All Wound Up by Philip Pullman.

Our topic is: Evolution and Inheritance 

In this topic, we will learn how plants and animals have adapted to suit the environments that they live in. We will learn about the characteristics that we all have and where, or who, they come from. We will learn about Charles Darwin and how fossils help us to understand evolution.
