The children in EYFS have been learning all about Pentecost this week in RE. They even experienced what it might have felt like when the Holy Spirit descended on the Disciples.
Year 1 have been making moving mechanisms in D and T this half term and this week they put theirs together making a chicken licken scene with moving characters and of course a falling acorn!
We’ve been continuing our shape work this week in EYFS. Reception have been exploring the faces on 3d shapes by drawing around them to see the footprints. They then moved onto action patternsNursery have continued their shape hunts to find 2d shapes around school.
We’ve been busy inside and outside the classroom this week too!
The hot weather last week inspired some children to make fans so we thought we’d run with that theme in our craft area this week and look at the beautiful fans the children made.
We had a lovely surprise visit from the ice-cream van today because the year 6 children had finished their SATS!
Yr1 have been making arrays in maths.
We finished the week with a lovely Golden Time treat- decorating biscuits!
